According to numerous reports surrounding the future of Cameroon goalkeeper Andre Onana, Trabzonspor will now look to acquire his services for the foreseeable future.
Onana joined the Turkish side on loan from Manchester United ahead of the 2025/26 campaign, while the Red Devils signed Senne Lammens as a replacement.
Amid Lammens impressing this season, it’s believed that United are against the idea of recalling Onana following his indifferent spell at the club in the last couple of years.
As per Independent NG, Trabzonspor are now looking to keep Onana at the club, even if it means extending his loan deal for another campaign.
The same report mentions that Onana could attract interest from other clubs around Europe as his future remains in limbo.
Also, It’s believed that the Turkish outfit could sign Onana permanently, while United will attempt to generate much of the £47.2million they paid for his transfer from Inter Milan in 2023.
