Nigeria qualified to the knock-out round of the on-going 2025 AFCON tournament in Morocco.
The Super Eagles humbled Tunisia 3-2 in group C duel played at Fez Stadium.
Victor Osimhen, Wilfred Ndidi and Ademola Lookman scored the goals for Nigeria.
Montassar Taibi and Ali Al-Abdi (penalty) replied for Tunisia.
Nigeria took the half time lead with Osimhen’s goal on the stroke of the opening stanza.
Ndidi added the second six minutes later. Lookman made it three on 67 minutes.
Tunisia pulled back a goal through Montassar in the 74th minute and Abdi struck home a penalty with three minutes to play.
Nigeria recorded their second win at the championship at the championship after a 2-1 win earlier win over Tanzania.
The Super Eagles now has six points from two matches and have qualified to the round of 16, joining Egypt.
Tunisia remains on three points.
Meanwhile, Uganda Cranes played to a 1-all draw with neighbors Tanzania.
Uganda faces Nigeria in Fes city on 30th December 2025. On the same day, Tanzania will face Nigeria.
