Manchester United legend Roy Keane reserved contrasting opinions on Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo following the Red Devils’ 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Mbeumo was on target for United during their 19th win of the 2025/26 league campaign, while he missed numerous chances before being substituted in the 79th minute.

Diallo on the other hand, looked blunt in the final third as he completed 90 minutes without getting on the scoresheet.

In assessment of the match, Keane believed that the Ivorian lacked physicality against the Forest backline and expressed that the Cameroon star showed great tenacity en-route to scoring.

“Amad Diallo, like a child, getting knocked off the ball,” Keane said after the game, as per Daily Post.

“I admire strikers like Mbeumo who keep at it, and this is a brilliant finish from him.”
