Overview:
Ian Silver Ongaki won silver in the boys’ category of five years. Another silver came to Flavia Mbatudde for the girls 16 to 18 year’s age cluster. The three bronze came from Rashid Mubaraka (10 to 11 years boys); Halima Atatiru (14-15 years girls) as well as Bridget Nandawula (junior girls 16 to 18 years).

Entebbe City Rollers Club gallantly represented Uganda during the G7 Skating championships 2026 hosted at the Kasarani Stadium outdoor facility in Nairobi city, Kenya.
A total of five medals (two silver and three bronze) were won by the Ugandan representatives.

The three bronze came from Rashid Mubaraka (10 to 11 years boys); Halima Atatiru (14-15 years girls) as well as Bridget Nandawula (junior girls 16 to 18 years).
“It was a successful championship and I thank the players, their parents, coaches and all the stakeholders who facilitated our travel to Kenya” Himran Sserumaga, the team lead at Entebbe City Rollers’ club remarked
The team was officially flagged off at Entebbe Municipal Council headquarters by the Mayor of Entebbe Municipality His Worship Fabrice Brad Rulinda.
The Mayor also donated a new set of track suits to the team worth Ug.Shs 1,200,000 and also offered Ug.Shs 1,000,000 in cash to assist in the logistics whilst traveling.
Uganda Skating Federation (USF) fully blessed the team before travel to Kenya.
The team has since returned back to Entebbe.
