Manchester City and Algerian international Rayan Ait-Nouri reserved special praises for Pep Guardiola who he believes is playing a major role in his progression at the club.
Ait-Nouri joined City from Wolves at the beginning of the 2025/26 campaign after becoming one of the most sought-after left-backs in the Premier League.
Amid facing stiff competition from the likes of Nico O’Reilly, Nathan Ake and Josko Gvardiol, Ait-Nouri expressed that he is happy to be learning from the some of the best players and coaches in England.
“I’m really enjoying this experience,” Ait-Nouri told the BBC, as per African Soccer.
“Training every day with these kinds of players and with a coach like Guardiola allows me to constantly improve. I’m very happy to be able to develop in this environment.
“Guardiola has helped me improve in many areas. Defensively, in my positioning on the pitch, in moments when I need to restart play quickly or try to take on defenders one-on-one, but also in the quality of my crosses.
“He helps me enormously every day.”
