National Basketball League champions Namuwongo Blazers made their intentions to defend the title clear, if their first signing ahead of the new season is anything to go by.
Nam Blazers have signed Congolese forward Franck Fataki Nyembo.
Nyembo joins the Blazers from Sommet, a side he helped to the Playoff semifinals last season before falling to City Oilers.
The skilled, versatile, and athletic forward announced himself to the league in the first game with Sommet, showcasing his scoring ability.
Throughout the second round of the season, Nyembo, who averaged 18 points and 12 boards, was indubitably the best player in the league.
