Crested Cranes and Kampala Queens forward Catherine Nagadya has completed a move to Egyptian club Al Ahly. The versatile forward has put pen to paper on a two-year deal to join Egyptian giants.
“ A new force added to our squad. Ready to make history, Catherine Nagadya.” The club confirmed.
Nagadya joined Kampala Queens in 2023 and in that period, she has been able to help the club win the FUFA Women Super League and most recently, the FUFA Women’s Cup.
Before joining, Kampala Queens, she had played for Uganda Martyrs Lubaga and Makerere Univiersity.
She is a very industrious player who plays across the entire forward line, often beating opponents for pace.
Nagadya has grown up the ranks, playing for the Junior National Teams (U17 and U20) up to the senior team (Crested Cranes).
She becomes the latest Ugandan female footballer to move to Egypt joining Bridget Nabisaalu and Phionah Nabulime who play for FC Modern and FC Masar respectively.
