Uganda Premier League side, Blacks Power FC have completed the signing of veteran defender Bashir Asiku from Calvary FC as they bolster their backline ahead of the new season.
The Lira-based outfit, popularly known as the Black Warriors, confirmed the arrival of the formidable center-back in an official statement on Tuesday, citing his strength and tactical maturity as key additions to their setup.
Asiku brings crucial top-flight experience to Blacks Power. Having previously featured for Vipers SC and Express FC, the seasoned defender built a reputation as a uncompromising, physically dominant stopper.
His recent stint at West Nile side Calvary FC reinstated his position as one of the most reliable anchors in the FUFA Big League.
The club’s management expressed complete confidence in their new addition as they aim for a sustained push toward top-flight promotion.
