Uganda now knows the opponents standing between the hosts and a strong start at the Africa AirBadminton Championships Uganda 2026, with the tournament draw placing the home side in Group C alongside Mauritius and Burkina Faso.
The championship is set for 16–19 September 2026 at Aero Beach in Entebbe, bringing together some of Africa’s leading AirBadminton nations for four days of competition.
For Uganda, playing on home ground adds an extra layer of expectation as the team prepares to navigate a three-nation group and make the most of familiar surroundings.
Uganda has been drawn in Group C, where they will face Mauritius and Burkina Faso.
The group presents Uganda with two different challenges and leaves little room for complacency. With only three teams in the pool, every encounter becomes important, placing a premium on consistency and the ability to take advantage of key moments.
