The Kasasiro are in a long trophy drought with their most recent trophy coming seven years ago.
For NEC, this provides a chance to win their first silverware since gaining promotion to the top tier league.
Road to the FINALE
Brian Ssenyondo’s lads dispatched BUL FC 4-2 on aggregate in the quarter-finals, winning 2-1 both home and away.
In the semi-finals, an early Saidi Mayanja strike sealed a 1-0 win over Kitara FC as KCCA reached a third final in the competition history after 2018 & 2019.
NEC FC booked their spot in this year’s final by pulling off a 3-1 second-half comeback victory over defending champions SC Villa in the semi-finals after they had earlier eliminated UPPC 3-2 on aggregate in the quarter-finals.
Key Players
Said Mayanja has been instrumental in the tournament so far scoring crucial goals for the Kasasiro and will be key again on Tuesday.
Elsewhere, Sammy Ssebaduka, Yunus Sibira and new signing Ibrahim Kasule who is in the match day squad could play a decisive role in the game.
For NEC FC, Richard Basangwa who scored a brace against Entebbe UPPC and engineered a comeback versus Villa remains the biggest weapon for the Bugolobi based side.
Others are Joseph Sseremba, Daniel Shabene and James Jarieko who have been in fine form.

We are hungrier because we have a long trophy drought. There is being competitive, and then there is winning trophies; that is the main target this season. To bring trophies back to this club because it is what KCCA is known for. We will represent this club in the best way possible in the FUFA Super 8 Final. We will give it everything.
Badru Kaddu (NEC)
We have prepared well and the players are mentally set and want to maintain our run in the competition. We expect a tough challenge against KCCA but the target remains competing and winning trophy.
